This Period Action Day, the Prison Flow Project is hosting a panel with our board!

We hope to explore:
What first brought menstrual inequity in prisons and jails to their attention
The challenges they discovered with policies on access
Why certain details matter
Lessons they learned from incarcerated menstruators
What other advocates and researchers can learn from their experience

The goal is to discuss basics of policies that can be used in a national movement for menstrual equity behind bars. By bringing advocates together, the Prison Flow Project hopes to create a space where states can learn from one another, celebrate progress, and identify the work that remains.
