Join us to discuss how past social movements can assist in reframing our perspectives to avoid these common pitfalls in building a successful movement, help us get comfortable with “failure,” and enable us to proceed with a better understanding that plants us in a seven-generation movement-building framework.
This course will be part of the PERIOD. Organizing Academy. This event is Part 2 of 2.

Period stigma and a lack of menstrual health education have been root causes of systemic issues impacting students, families, and policies around the United States. To make a lasting impact, it is essential to talk about periods at home, in the classroom, and in our everyday lives. But how do we do that effectively?
Join Dr. Marni Summer from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University, and the 2022 PERIOD. Youth Champion Award winner in Education to discuss how menstrual health education, or lack thereof, has impacted young people in the United States and how we can break this cycle to make a lasting change. Together, we can work toward a world of true menstrual health equity and wellness.
Sponsored by Pandia Health.
